Speaking of GRATITUDE , I so often get caught up on the “what if” of the future and forget the beautiful place that I live in and how many people would love to trade places with me. . . I know as they have told me! What I love about our ranch /resort is the number of people who go away recharged or have become different people after they have been there. That is what Don and I get the most joy from. As we move into 2014 we go with tons of hope. We have great advisers and helpers and angels along the way.
Right today, I am thankful for Keya, for stepping up to help us manage our Cabins in the Woods. It is great to get new energy into the place. Last night she had fresh maple bars and peanut brittle for the guests. Her office is so warm and inviting. Then Jacob her brother taught the guests how to play Stick Game a traditional game played by many Tribes . We love their energy and love of the property. They were so delighted to find our Gratitude Peak and Medicine Wheel. I know it will get used a lot this season.
We are putting up TiPi’s (TeePee) on the bluff overlooking the resort and Glacier National Park in the spring. We are busy buying buffalo, bear and elk hides for the floors. You are going to love them. . . and then. . . the big surprise will be the delivery of hot coffee and chocolate croissants in the morning for our guests. Oh, people are going to LOVE this!
We have a new Spa going in and our friend Jackie will be managing it. We are developing a whole spa menu and will have clawfoot tubs on the deck for soaking and looking out over the river. It is going to be such fun here this spring and summer. We have such a team of people full of love and light and we welcome people from all over the world to come and love our space.
